This app is great! It allows me to check if my flights are on time, and gives detailed information. GREAT MUST GET

The info on the app is not real time. My gate changed after I got to the airport and this app did not update its info and I almost missed my flight by going to the gate it told me I should go to. Had to check the airport info screen to get the right info (now on the opposite end of the airport) and barely made my flight. This app often gets strange "cannot update information" errors which makes it useless in any practical sense. Air Canada needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Install app, open, click on "check in" and I get a heading "Delayed and Cancelled Flight Service". Below that is a badly formatted error 404 page, "Sorry, we couldnt find that page". It offers an 800 number to call but that is disconnected (doesnt work from the US perhaps?). Not something Canadians can be proud of.

Got app, checked in relatively easily (if you click change seats and cancel, you start over), got boarding pass. Good stuff right? Chose text me boarding pass option. It didnt, but no big deal because pass is in app. Close app, do other stuff. Reopen app to access boarding pass at airport, my flight info is gone. Give it all my info again. Im checked in, but no way to access my boarding pass. At all. Check everywhere. Only option is to cancel check in and say Im not flying. Advice: pretend youre a passenger and imagine what would actually be useful. There is no way you can possibly think its a good idea to only allow access to the boarding pass once. Almost missed my flight having to leave security and go to the counter...

Nothing worked. The only things I was able to do with this app was getting server errors and crashing the app.

Total crap. Particularly disappointed in United as a code share partner that they make me deal with such an unstable app.

This app is not the least bit user friendly for anyone who actually wants to fly somewhere. Why is this so horrendous!? Just use the website, which is also terrible.

You would hope one of the first options would be to log in to aeroplan and import all flights. No such luck. Pretty much useless unless you intend to do 100% of your admin through the app, an Im not sure if it has all the features (upgrading?).

Polite, clean and only marginally useful

Youd think that once you find your flights, that the corresponding boarding passes would be easily accessible, or accessible at all. I was able to access the digital boarding pass when going through security, yet the option to pull it up again vanished when I went to actually board. Im just glad I had the pass emailed to me so I had access, otherwise I might have missed my flight. Just utterly terrible based on this non-feature alone.

The worst flight experience in 20 years anywhere in the world! Greeted by militaristic gate agents belittling the passengers at every step. The app is stupid. I had to go through the checkin process 3 times as it deleted my boarding pass. Yikes!

Terrible application with very limited interaction for travelers. Does not track flights and does not provide a digital ticket. User interface can use a lot of work.

Terrible technology for an even more terrible airline

Ive found the flight I want in the Book Flight area, but I cant actually book the flight. Also, there doesnt seem to be a way to use my Aeroplan credits.

What a joke of an app! Is this just to mess with Americans that fly to Canada and are used to using apps that actually work? There is one 5 star review and to be honest it seems fake. I couldnt even check in. This app is a true joke and after reading everyone elses reviews I just confirmed what I thought.

I travel frequently and have all of the other airline apps. Air Canadas app lets you book flights. Oh wait-- but if you have more than 4 people the app cant handle that (what??) I have 4 kids so the lack of this feature is a big PIA. The other thing I noticed was that not all of their flight options show up on the mobile app. When you look online there are flights that dont exist in the mobile app search. Really an embarrassment to the airline. How could senior management let this app get out there without ensuring it is on par with the other carriers?

I dont know why they even publish this thing if it wont put a boarding pass on my phone.

Quality is in the details and this app has none. The "New" banner didnt help. Now it wont even start after re-install. Before I couldnt even enter my credit card info as this app wouldnt recognize the very same info that I entered on the full website. There isnt a contact for the developer. Maybe one day they will get it.
