This is one of those apps that a company would be better off not having rather than look so far behind just about everyone else in North America.

Its impressive that Air Canada has passbook integration (when it works)...but the app itself is bug-plagued and is not nearly as good as the best-in-class apps from United and Luftansa, for instance. But if I compare it with less advanced airlines like KLM, SAS (which doesnt even have an app) or US Airways...the app is OK. It has good features and is easy to use, but when those features dont work...it doesnt count and makes the airline seem second-rate. A lot of times I just get a communications error when trying to accomplish something. Poor testing.

Doesnt recognize when youve already checked in, and doesnt sync with Passbook.

No quick, obvious way to access mobile boarding pass; the only thing I need in an airline app.

It seems the only currency option is in Canadian dollars. It would be helpful to have the option to change the currency to US dollars.

These is no support for passbook on iOS 7 beta 3.

Your ticket wont load into passbook without using their app; in other words if one creates a reservation on another website,including their own, you cant load it into passbook. I inquired this issue to Air Canadas webmaster to which he said theyll look into it.

Passbook support is broken for the latest iOS. App is almost useless without this functionality.

Seems an ok app, but if your origination is IND its not possible to check in as its not listed on the pull down menu.

Amazing prices. Great customer service. And the app is simple and easy to use. And its got passbook! Even though flying to Toronto is more expensive than taking a bus from New York, Air Canada makes it worth every penny. Traveling in luxury and style.

Nice design, but communications error when trying to add a booking.

Cannot see aeroplan details, so whats the point?

Shows flights but only the original flight info - no updates.

This feature has been broken since day one. I try to login with an account I registered and it says I havent activated my account. When I click Resend activation email, it gives me "communication error (500/1)". Sorry but broken features are just a huge turn off. Fix it or just get rid of it!

Checking in using the app is easy. But I have an issue with Air Canada not confirming that you have checked in. Getting confirmation would give me peace of mind.

Why dont they just have in flight entertainment on the plane? This is the 90s.

App wont show seat map, but tells you to download the latest app. No newer app available.

First, for ticket info this is just wrapper around there web interface. Second, it doesnt have up to date info. Doesnt show my gates despite the fact that Im sitting at my gate. Says On Time despite the fact that we are sitting here 30 minutes delayed.
